Split Rock Books is an independent bookstore opened in 2018 by Heidi and Michael Bender, who left careers in New York City publishing and libraries to set up shop on Main Street. It carries a curated selection of new books with a literary lean — fiction and non-fiction, small presses, local-interest titles, and a children's section — and will special-order almost anything, alongside a regular calendar of readings and events.
