Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Sanctuary protects roughly 270 acres of tidal marsh along the Hudson just south of Cold Spring, managed by Audubon as habitat for herons, waterfowl, and migrating birds. A boardwalk carries visitors out over the reeds and open water for close, quiet views, with trails open sunrise to sunset and the visitor center open on a limited schedule. Parking is very limited and often requires a timed reservation, so check ahead; many visitors arrive on foot or by kayak from the Cold Spring waterfront.
